The Regional Reality: Opportunity + Impact

Moranbah

A well‑publicised childcare shortage saw 27 international educators relocate in 2024—proof that passionate professionals can shift a town's trajectory.

Charters Towers

Country hospitality, strong community bonds and an affordable, relaxed lifestyle—about 90 minutes west of Townsville.

Cost of Living—Straight Talk

Regional Queensland rents surged in 2024 and remain close to Brisbane's median in 2025. We'll be transparent so you can plan—yet many educators still report better work–life balance outside the big cities.
